What could be wrong?
Several problems can occur in the hip, including:
Hip and knee osteoarthritis:
Wear and tear of the cartilage, leading to pain, stiffness and limited movement.
Bursitis:
Inflammation of the bursa in the hip, often due to overuse or prolonged pressure.
Tendonitis:
Irritation or inflammation of tendons around the hip.
Groin injuries:
Muscle tears or strains in the groin and hip area.
Greater trochanter syndrome:
Pain on the outside of the hip due to tendon irritation or inflammation.
