Looking left and right becomes more difficult, which makes it difficult for you to cycle or drive a car. Exercising is less pleasant with neck pain. In fact, it is only when you have pain in your neck that you realize that you are tensing the muscles in your neck for almost everything - no matter how small the movement. Perform the exercises carefully
Time to read about the exercises that help with neck complaints. Before you get started with these exercises, we would like to remind you something. Do not perform an exercise too quickly, but at a leisurely pace. Make sure you don't force anything, because the exercises should not cause enormous pain. We recommend that you really take your time. Just keep moving your neck and carry out your daily activities.
Turn your neck from side to side
Sit upright on a chair with your back against a backrest. Relax your shoulders. Look as far over your left shoulder as possible and hold for about five seconds. Then look over your right shoulder and hold this again for five seconds. You repeat this a few times.
Tilt your head to the side
Stay in the chair. First tilt your head sideways as far as possible towards your left shoulder. Hold this for five seconds, after which you tilt your head towards your right shoulder. You also hold this for a few seconds. You also repeat this exercise a few times. And remember: always do it at a slow pace and with care.
Tilt your head forward and back
You also perform this exercise while sitting in your chair. Gently tilt your head forward with your chin towards your chest. Then try to tilt your head back as far as possible. Repeat this exercise several times.
